02-28-2025 Exploring the BLM roads in the Yellow Cat Flat area. We took exit 193 off I-70 and headed south on BLM 163 Yellow Cat for a few miles and then headed west on BLM 146 Salt Valley Gorge. We saw prairie dogs, cattle, pronghorn, a jack rabbit and a few people out camping. Found lots of agate and jasper and a little bit of selenite. Beautiful views of the La Sal Mountains.
